Fortifying Online Information and Data Protection Through Mathematical Sciences: Short Film Contest

In celebration of the 32nd Mathematical Sciences Week, the UPLB Mathematical Sciences Society presents a short film competition that is open to all high school students in the Philippines. To learn the mechanics and more details about the competition, read this. Registration is only until September 28, 2020. Short film entries should be submitted on or before October 7, 2020.

Participants can submit an animation, a drama, documentary film, or other genres based on the theme ELEVATE: Fortifying Online Information and Data Protection through Mathematical Sciences. Group your team now and register. Only 30 teams can register for the competition.

Westcon Philippines partners with the Philippine Women in Cyber Alliance to bring you an enjoyable and meaningful evening with Original Pinoy Music and a talk on cyber security awareness, which is also a benefit event for jeepney drivers through Beep Beep Sagip. Juris and Sitti will give you the music while Palo Alto Networks, BeyondTrust, and Forescout will inform you about cyber security.

As this night is for the benefit of our jeepney drivers who are among the badly affected due to the lockdowns, the Philippine Women in Cyber Alliance and Beep Beep Sagip will also have a chat.
